The latest one to join the 3D push to make movies and televisions more popular is Dish Network. The company has made an announcement that they will be offering 3D movies available as a Pay per view for your on-demand movie watching "BUT" you will need to have a 3D capable TV and 3D glasses to make this experience worth your time.
This holiday, DISH subscribers can expect to watch A Christmas Carol, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Step Up 3D, and The Last Airbender. Additional 3D titles are forthcoming, and pricing will be between $5.99 and $7.99 per flick. The 3D movie titles will be part of DISH Cinema, which can be found on channel 1 or 501.
this is indeed a step in the right direction to target the average movie lover and lure them into the enticing world of 3D and the 3D experience at home. We expect to see a large portion of the population with 3D capable TVs sometime in the near future.

Google has launched a new 3D "Body Browser". A three-dimensional, multi-layered browser version of those Visible Man/Woman model kits. This will allow you to see, search, and locate parts of the body in a 3D view. There is also a browser function that will allow you to locate any body part by simply typing it in.
